The automotive regulations require that only capable test equipment and test systems are used for quality tests. This applies in particular when safety-relevant characteristics are the focus of the Q tests, because without confidence in test procedures and results, there is a risk that incorrect conclusions will be drawn.

In this seminar, the methods of the AIAG Reference Manual MSA are taught as well as the procedures according to VDA Volume 5. The systematic and consistent determination and evaluation of the capability of test equipment and test systems are the focus of this seminar.

You will learn how to determine and assess the capability of test equipment and test systems. By applying the various procedures, you will be able to classify test equipment and test systems according to their intended use and to plan for their use.
