MMOG-LE
Information
The Materials Management Operation Guideline / Logistics Evaluation (MMOG/LE) is an evaluation tool designed to help companies in the automotive industry develop and implement world-class logistics processes.
MMOG/LE was developed from the Odette Logistics Evaluation (OLE) and the Materials Management Operations Guideline of the U.S. industry association Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) to create a globally uniform evaluation procedure for logistics processes. Ford and General Motors, among others, require their suppliers to introduce and implement MMOG/LE.
MMOG/LE includes requirements for procurement logistics, warehousing and material provisioning, internal transport as well as shipping in a company, and forms a significant extension and supplement to the requirements of IATF 16949, based on the principles of lean production.
The more than 100 questions of MMOG/LE provide valuable guidance for effective implementation of logistics topics in a company, including a “best practice” collection. MMOG/LE can be integrated into an existing QM system.
Objective
The participants get to know the objectives and methods of MMOG/LE as well as the question list and the evaluation system. Guidance is given for a suitable implementation of MMOG/LE in the company and the execution of self-assessments according to MMOG/LE.
Target audience
This seminar is aimed at employees from the areas of logistics and quality management. Knowledge as an internal auditor is advantageous.
