The basis for VDA 6.4:2017 – which specifies quality management for suppliers of production equipment in the automotive sector – is the quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001.

Similar to IATF 16949, VDA 6.4 also contains numerous more extensive and additional requirements of German automakers for manufacturers of plant, machinery, equipment, tools, testing systems and other production equipment.

In this context, the industry-specific peculiarities are intensively taken into account. This also makes VDA 6.4 an interesting guideline for the further development of a QM system in addition to ISO 9001, if no certification is required by an automotive customer.
The two-day seminar will help you to develop a deep understanding of the standard changes and support you in interpreting the standard requirements.

In addition, the certification rules as well as FAQ’s are part of the seminar. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and as an auditor is advantageous.
